Lease return and tires
(Can't help with the question, just curious how long the run-flats will last on my E-450
)I leased cars in the past, never had problems with tires, but I was the perfect lease customer: Paid for 36,000 miles, but only drove 18,000.

If you had RF, then your lease will require RF. Like NorseWagon above, I lease for 36 months, 30K miles and usually turn in my cars with about 28,000 miles, so my tires are still good.
Since every E Class came with RF, I would think, but could be wrong, that the dealer will check to make sure you have RF on the car. Whether they check tire size is another question.
Having said all that, your car probably has substantial equity, i.e., the market value is considerably higher than the residual. Shame to give up that equity. Can it worked against your new 450 GLE?
