E450 4matic vibration
so I have been having issues with my Mercedes, E450 2019. The issue starts when I come to a full stop in a traffic light with my foot on the break the car starts to vibrate and shakes. When I put the car in neutral, the vibration seems to disappear. I automatically assumed it’s the engine and gear mount so I have them both replaced. The issue seem to disappear for about a week, but then it returns again. I replaced the engine mount again but this time I personally did the replacement and I noticed when I removed the old engine mount the top cap is moving it’s not stationary as it should be or as it was when I first bought it from the dealer. Again, about a week later, the issue returned vibration when the car is at a full stop with the brakes on. The car would also vibrate even when it’s on neutral, and there’s a loud growl when the car starts. So I replaced the engine mount again, and the issue returned again. And all the times I replaced, the engine mounts. The top cap of the mount seemed to be loose. One interim solution that I found to work is to put the car and drive every morning and rev the engine to RPM 1300 to 1500 before I drive the car and that seemed to resolve the issue temporarily but not permanently. Any suggestion to what could be the root cause for the engine mount to fail prematurely? I would really appreciate your health if anybody had a similar issue.
