Problem With Various Features
I have a 2019 E450 wagon, USA version. Occurring in the past few months, the cornering lights, eco stop/start, and the "welcome" program in the ambient light menu have stopped working. Today the seat belt "not in use" chime stopped working. None of these features is a great loss. However, I'm concerned that eventually everything will stop working. Does anyone have any ideas? FWIW I installed a new battery yesterday and fully charged it.

Others on this forum have posted that they changed their own battery, some older than yours, with no ill effects.

Well, my understanding was that the "yes" answer means the OP did have these problems before the battery was changed. "Registering" the battery or coding battery change with diagnostic tools would not make a difference for the issues the OP describes.

Diesel Benz is correct; these problems existed before the new battery. One of the reasons I replaced the battery is that many people said their problem with stop/start were cured by a new battery. Not so in my case. I'm wondering if it could be a com bus fault. It is also throwing 3 codes: U3FFFFF (current), B01401A 9 stored) and U1723BC (stored). I don't know what these codes mean.
