Rear camera problem (open then close)

This is a great job for your local MB Specialist or perhas your favorite scanner can scan your car for a saving.
The Camera motor is controlled from the Rear SAM.
Might be wiring
Might be signal.
Doubtful it is the open/close motor as the motor is just DC based and not brushless so no fancy electronics.

This module has the longest wires of the whole car.
Try to help this work well with a shorter GND + Not undersized power wires.

Appreciate the input.
The issue i see is that the Camera and Cover are operational but as soon as the car starts moving in R.. the Camera closes but the image stays up for a few seconds than throws the no image picture (Camera image with a "Cancel" sign). I am about to tear the rear bonnet trim, i am thinking at least on mine is wiring related.

So you can see how it behaves. It might be wiring issue.

You can also open the camera by going to the parking camera and selecting the rear camera (wide or narrow is fine). Both with open the cover for cleaning.
I have had main dealer replace the camera, and this did not resolve the issue, I then had main dealer replace the Parktronic head unit, and yet the problem persists. In addition, the software has been updated. Car has been purchased new from Mercedes and all servicing and work done exclusively by main dealer so a good relationship exists. They have suggested the next step is to replace wiring loom Part A2135404276 which looks to be a large loom the length of the car. I imagine this is a large and costly next step, and I would appreciate if anyone here has had this done and did it resolve the issue?
My gut says my problem is related to moisture, and as the wagon boot is used everyday I would imagine if there is cut wire the issue would be close to the hinges or the camera flap.
Appreciate if anyone here can share some knowledge or any thoughts own what to do next?
