Cool What is the Current Mileage on your W213

I am trying to assess if I must change my 2017 E300 P3 with every option in it (except rear seat heats and air suspension)... Has been no trouble for me, excepting the ride quality at times if the road is not smooth irritates me because of some squeaks/plastic noises..

What year is yours and what is the current mileage?

Mine is very low miles with 44k in it

Basically the same here. '17 E300 with 40k. Just passed 40 last month. I get noises when there are waterbottles in the cup holders and when my sunglasses are in the overhead bin on bumpy roads. Strange sources to get noises from but I guess it has the most plastic.

Before I would consider I would test drive a new Mercedes and see if you like it. In all likelihood it will be quieter - suspension parts wear out and squeaks set in. But remember, if important to you, you will give up the convenience of knobs and buttons for a touch screen. For me that is a step backward.

Then there will be the cost of depreciation. Your 2017 is probably worth between $17,000 and $20,000 US dollars. In the next three years it will only lose another at worst $5,000. A new fully loaded E350 will be about $80,000 US and in three years will lose between $35,000 and $40,000. This is a huge difference.

As to your original question I have 48,000 miles on my 2019 E450 so you are way below average miles per year.

Good luck!

Agree with the recommendation of test driving.

Excellent points. I am going to wait it out, and may be a year or two, will go for the S class (2023 or later new gen) with different styling etc..

That will be a huge upgrade, S-Class and E-Class are completely different cars and once you go S-Class it is hard to go back down to E-Class.

83k miles and going strong.

Sat in a new one, didn’t feel too much different. Mine is a P2.

considering an S 580 or Panamera as the next one when it’s time to replace this one - need to start test driving to get an idea but i expect I have a few good years at least. Planning to sell it in 2 years or so and buy the next.

I'm starting to get the itch to get into my next ride. No reason really to get rid of my 17 since it's in great shape and I still enjoy driving it. I test drove a macan s and an sq5. looking to go back into a small suv with some hp. Going to look at a glc43 too.

Great question actually. I'm just gravitating back to one but nothing too big. Easier in and out. The utility of it as well. Drop the seats and I've got more cargo space. When my clubs are in my trunk all summer, the trunk is pretty much full. If I drive anyone to or from the course I have to put their clubs in my back seat.

Ah, sounds like you are a wagon person then : ) other than easier in and out part. I guess a lifted air suspension wagon... um all terrain?

Two weeks ago, my 2018 W213 E400 Wagon had 74K miles so now I’m driving a W214 E450 Wagon with 236 miles. Yay!

2017 E400 Wagon (4Matic since they all were in the US), P3 options. 64K miles. I'm the 3rd owner. I've had it for just over a year and I love this car. The cargo space is unreal. Would never own an SUV. Would be a huge step backward.
