Does anybody know if you can get the classic hood star instead of the grille star?

Pipe dream based on the very low take rate on the W213. Personally I think it looks very nice. Just don't think the average E customer would go for it.

Ya I mean if it did sell, MBUSA wouldn't had discontinued the luxury trim in the first place even for the C I think?

I have 2 neighbors on either side of my home with an E. Both are E350s and are the Luxury model with the hood ornament, so I get to compare to my sport model, and have no regrets. It is buyers like me that killed any chance of MBUSA importing the W214 Luxury trim here... However, I must agree that the W214 luxury model does look good, from the outside... especially if shod with the optional 20" rims... that is one good looking car, I must admit albeit reluctantly... altho I still have a few grudges with the whole package.

@Eaton Do you know if the W214 E450 (or just the E class in general) can be ordered with the massaging seats? Normally (in other models' build guides), this option is listed as "Active Multicontour Seats with massage function" but in the case of the W214, the "with massage function" is omitted. It just says "Active Multicontour Seats" as part of package DB8. Thanks.

I hear you but I have checked with all 5 dealers around me and they can't confirm anything. Two say yes, three say no. And 399 is the specific one that does not state "with massage function". Do you have access to the ordering system (netstar or whatever the new version is)?

Something doesn’t add up.
For “MBUX Superscreen Package- DAO (Optional)” it says “Only with 12H + 667| 759/ 753/ 671. Not with H17, 10H, 11H, 14H, 70H”
But I don’t see “12H” anywhere. Also are these all packages/options? What about Acvoustic Comfort package?

Those are the wood trims. 12H is the plain piano black trim, that's what happens when you try to order the flowing lines wood on a superscreen car.

I'm planning to place my order on Friday. This will be my first ever Mercedes.
Does anyone have any advice on what wheel size to go for? I do prefer to tune for handling, so I'm thinking 19 or 20 inch wheels (leaning towards 20). How did the previous E class handle with larger wheels?
