2024 Order Guide

Our salesman at the dealership where we bought our W211 and W213 wagons offered to order a 2024 E450 sedan to our specifications with no deposit. He said the car would arrive around the end of April. He had prices for the options but no price for the car itself. When the car arrives, he said we would be under no obligation to buy it. Not having seen a 2024 E-class of any kind, it was hard to go ahead with it. We ordered a Porsche Macan S (6-cylinder twin turbo Porsche engine, not an Audi engine) which we were able to not only sit in but to test drive as well.. Our factory order will be delivered in late April. We'll keep the E400 wagon. The Macan S will replace my Jaguar XF which I sold very quickly with a $5 Craigslist ad. Had I known it was going to sell within 15 minutes after posting the ad, I would have waited a bit.

Anyone else surprised by the price? To me it seems awefully expensive. I am looking to replace my E550 4matic and it seems like over $80,000.

I have a E450 on order and it is $81,000. My last car was a 2018 E400 with basically the same equipment and it was $74,700.The 2018 didn't have the panorama sunroof which would have added about $1,000. So for 6 years with inflation of the last 3 years, the increase in cost is not a surprise.

I've attached an updated order guide. Bermester has been added to the Pinnacle Trim Package. Still no 4-zone climate control.

^ Still references 61U headliner, which is/was Alcantara/Dynamica on the W213, but no mention of it as an option. Hopefully it and 4-zone climate eventually make their way to the US…
