I just wanted to let people in this forum know that I have listed my car for sale in the classified section. This is not due to any fault or problem with the car, I just ended up finding something else that I like more. It’s a chance for somebody to get a great deal.

Nothing wrong with the E. The S350 came into my life unexpectedly and I've always been a big diesel fan. I have more cars than space now and the new E drew the short straw.

In Calif, diesel is for trucks. Not many cars with diesel around. I guess it is due to strict emission control. Anyway, go with your heart. Best luck.

I've owned several diesel vehicles (VW Jetta wagon and Touareg and most recently a 2018 BMW X5). In EU half of new car sales are diesels because it costs less than gas and the cars are taxed lower with diesel engines. The reason there are so few left in the US is thanks to VW for diesel gate. Diesels in cars/SUV's are ideal for long distance cruising where engine RPM's are lower and its not stop and go driving. I live in Texas and drove my X5 diesel up to Canada to visit family. I'd be cruising at 80mph and I'd be getting 31Mpg. That is real numbers, not the computer.

What is the pice in your area now? Is it for the white color only? In the Bay Area , the cheapest one is around $65K.

Most dealers are selling for MSRP, making mine a heck of a deal for somebody.
