Good Morning Everyone!

What does this mean? I got this a few days ago that something needs to be updated, but the app isn't showing up as needing to be updating on the apple (iPhone) App Store? Is this a car update?

That update means to update the phone's app version so basically update Mercedes Me Connect. Maybe the update isn't available yet on the app store, wait a few days or maybe another week.

You're welcome, just stating that similar problem has appeared on the forums before, sometimes it takes a few weeks if it is still not working will recommend logging out and reinstalling the app.

What does the second button from the left do? the one next to locked?

I dont have it on my Mercedes Me app. Is it the one that lets you turn on the car remotely? does anyone know if this is a feature that can be purchased/added thru Me or it's an option code that has to be installed in the car from the factory?

 

Yes, it's remote start. A new 2024 or 2025 should have it enabled already as the Mercedes ME service come free for the first year. Then you have to pay additional money each year to keep them.

I also see message on my app for updating it. I agree that we may need to wait for this to occur. My apps update automatically as that is how I set it up in settings on iPhone.
