Rearview mirror

Anyone having issues with rearview mirror slowly drooping? Sometimes, my car sits for a couple days and I’ve had to adjust the mirror several times already once I start driving it again.

I haven't seen that issue. Maybe there is a nut or screw that needs tightening.

I had this issue with my 2024, does not seem to be happening with my 2025. For the 4 months I had the 2024 it was making me crazy that almost every day I would have to adjust the mirror.

Yes! I thought it was just me too. Please tell us what the dealer says.

I second the recommendation to check if there's a nut or a screw that'll need tightening. Mine's a 2025 and absolutely no issues whatsoever.

I have no doubt there is a nut or something that can tighten it. I just looked and cannot find one accessable without taking the mirror apart a bit. Looks like the plastic back/shroud needs to be removed or the plastic cover on the windshield itself needs to be removed. In any case it's not easily accessible and therefore not likely something one would do unless they are comfortable removing parts. I'm sure the dealership can tighten it and fix the issue pretty easily though.

I haven't had an issue on mine and in fact it's pretty hard to move. I have to hold it firmly and give a bit of force to move mine. I wouldn't say it's too tight, but it's certainly not loose and not moving without it being forced.

That's the crazy part, mine is equally as difficult to move, yet it will still sink over time. I was on vacation last week of July, in that week it went from normal view out the back window, to a beautiful view of the rear seat back...

Are you sure your neighbor was not driving your car while you were away?

Does it happen while you are driving? Is it possible you or something is hitting it when you get in our out of the car?

It happens slowly, definitely not getting hit/bumped, doesn't move around while driving. Seems like it may be related to heat, but it's so gradual it is difficult to tell. Aside from the 14 days I was out of it, leading to a much more obvious drop, it's just a matter of a feeling like I have to readjust it for the perfect view every hand full of days or so. Would really be interested in seeing exactly how the ball is setup in these, it doesn't feel like just a friction design.
