While the dealer gave me a very good deal on the car, and met my expectations for my trade in allowance, the purchase experience was underwhelming, as if I was buying a used Kia. For any salespeople reading this, here's some suggestions:
Make sure you go over the car COMPLETELY before demo. Carefully explain the safety features, how they work, how to get the most from them.
Go over the window sticker- my salesperson didn't, and features I thought were included, were not. Would have selected a different car. I know, my fault, should have caught it.
During delivery, show these important functions: Tire change kit, hood latch, lift points, tow bolt use. Go over the car completely. Of course, your cient will need to learn much of the car other own, but you should be helping them to know what they need to know in the event of a breakdown. Don't assume your client already knows!
I bought the car because of my own research. The dealer was absolutely useless in that regard, no excitement, no positive encouragement- not one person in the dealership ever said anything good about the car. Had to wrestle to get a senior tech on the phone to answer questions and concerns about the M256 engine. Was the only person I encountered who had anything positive to say about the car.
Mercedes, take better care of your clients!

Your experience is unfortunate. When you buy a car you are also buying a dealer. I've been most pleased with my dealer (through 5 Mercedes) in Scarborough, ME and almost feel a stronger loyalty to them than to Mercedes.
I have a car similar to yours ('25 E450 All-Terrain) and it has close to 7K miles now, with zero issues till date. My prior car (subsequently sold to my brother) was a 2022 E450 All-Terrain, which too had zero issues in around 40K miles of driving with an additional 15K miles of trouble-free driving with my brother. Hopefully, in your case, this will be a rare glitch and will be fixed soon......I suspect it is connected to the software/firmware, and probably nothing hardware related.
