2026 E53 AMG Order/Delivery Updates

Will keep the thread posted on my updates!
So close

I was told should be released by the end of the month which is coming soon.
It’s been there for like 3 weeks. Been told there are no hold ups aside from waiting for Mercedes to release.
Not sure what they could be waiting for, maybe they want to boost the numbers for next quarter delivery and will wholesale on Oct 1? That would mean ineligible for the 9/30 end of EV credits.

Yes 3 weeks probably is not out of the ordinary but just feels like an awfully long time.
How has your car been @wdimagineer ? I’m sure all the waiting will be worth it!

The Long Beach VPC has a pretty cool history. It was an old building used by the Douglas aircraft company. Lots of indoor space, and I would expect your car is safely parked inside.
My car is a few days away from arriving to Houston in a container. I can't wait to have her back and risk my life daily on Texas roads!

Looking forward, and keep us posted on how being the only customer car wagon stateside is! Did they ever fix your build issue?
Formally known as buildings 80 and 82. All of the commercial jets (MD-11, -80, -90, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, and B717) were assembled in those two buildings.

It seems no updates as of yesterday. But given that north Olmsted has received cars for stock, I have no reason to think that I should be much slower than them who are having these cars for stock as an ordered car.
I would think that fulfilling existing orders for already sold cars with P1 designation would be a priority (as the name suggests) for corporate. As you said earlier with cars being sitting at ports since July with the E1s, doesn’t make sense to me why MB would hold them. It’d be very odd if these cars at North Olmsted are the only ones that qualify for the FTC at this point, and not the preorders. You’re absolutely right that it’s poor product management.
