Hi everyone! Just took delivery of my W214 E200 AMG Line and recently installed the Front Headrest and Pillow like what you see in the long wheelbase V214s in India and China markets.
The pillow didnt feel as plush / comfy as the one in the S Class (I think!) ... Have not sat in an S Class for a while but thought the pillows felt more comfy. Anybody has used a different pillow on their car?

The E-class front seat is different than the S-class seat. In the S-class seat, the top part of the seat is on two metal pillars. The pillow cushion straps between them. This is not the case in the E-class seat. How do you get the pillow onto the top part of the seat ? It is NOT a standard S-class cushion.
Hi, I am not sure how the S Class seats work but presumably it should be the same as the E Class? For my E Class, I had to change the entire head rest as there is an extra piece of leather (like a middle column in the headrest) that is sewn into the headrest itself which functions as the support for the pillow to slide up and down. The pillow is velcro-ed into this middle leather strap.

I do not believe it's the same and you likely cannot just swap the headrest. The W214 E-Class does not have an opening between the top of the seat back and the headrest. This means putting a pillow like that found in the S-Class since it does have an opening that the pillow straps go through. I've been searching for something similar and have not found any I like that seem like they would fit. I'm not a fan of the W214 headrest however I really liked the headrest in my prior W212. The W212 allowed you to lean your head back and gave you support at the base of your head. The W214 is higher and no amount of adjustment seems to give the same support. I tried these but they sit too low between the shoulders and I don't use them. The seller gave me a refund, but didn't want me to send them back which is common on Amazon these days. Kind of tells you all you need to know about the quality of many things found on Amazon and out there in general. I want something that sits just as the base of the head / top of the neck area that doesn't push you forward. I haven't found them yet.

You are correct. The seats are different. Obviously a head rest pillow just straps into the S-class seat. For the E-class, you had to change the entire head rest.
Changing the head rest looks complicated and if not done right, might possibly damage the safety as what will happen in an accident ?
I actually used one of the sponsors of this forum who regularly does MB Retrofits for this upgrade. Look pretty straightforward during the installation process, it's basically a plug and play. And it works with the headrest adjustment as well once plugged in. It is meant for my seat as the V214 Longwheelbase in China/India have the same Leather seats as what I currently have in my car. I don't think there is a Nappa Leather Headrest with the pillow strap at the moment.
