Hi all, I get the "vehicle unlocked" message on my iPhone all day long, even when I park the car in my garage. I like messages like under inflated tires or if there was an accident or something, but is there a way to toggle off only the unlocked messages? I played around with it and if there is a way, I'm missing it. Thanks!

Why not lock your car when you leave it. That's what I've done since my car was ransacked while parked unlocked in my garage many years ago.
You likely have an iPhone but if you have an android, there is something called Notification Categories which you can toggle on/off certain notifications without disabling the app notification altogether, if for some reason you want to keep the vehicle unlocked and don't get those notifications.
To lock the vehicle, even in your garage, is the only way to shut it completely down, according to our service advisor. My wife's EQE drained the 12v battery, which resulted in huge headache, towing, etc... Ever since we make sure that both vehicles are locked, even at home. My M3 and Genesis were similar
Sure, the lock notification has a purpose around town. But I live on 20 acres, with a garage. Very rural. I work in a high security government installation. The constant reminders to lock at these places are really annoying. It sounds like there’s no way around it since I have an iPhone. Of course I can lock the doors! But there appears to be no way around the notification, unless turn off all.
What do you mean by you get them all day? As said above, you should only get one notification shortly after parking it and then you can leave it unlocked as long as you want. Turning them off, even if you could turn them off selectively would defeat their purpose as you then won't get them when they are actually useful such as around town. I've just been dismissing them and treat them as a piece of mind. Granted, I don't daily drive, so I get maybe 1-2 a week.
Having said that, MB could learn a few things from BMW. I just recently learned that with BMW you can create a geofence around your home and presumable elsewhere and designate them as secure areas essentially, and the car will disable things like auto locking etc., and presumable not send notifications if it's parked within one of the geofences. It also stops the car from reacting to a nearby fob or digital key whenever you walk past it. With the newer MBs, not only do you get the unlocked notification when the car is in the garage, but it constantly extends the door handles when the fob or digital key comes near it.

I get to work in a secure installation, leave the door unlocked. I get the notification on my phone. I drive out to lunch to a drive up window for food, go back to work and park it, I get the notification. I get home and drive to my barn to feed horses (20 acres of land), I get the notification. Drive back to my home garage and park, I get the notification. That's just an example when there is no need to lock the doors. Of course I can lock it every time! But there are practical times when it just isn't necessary to lock the doors and ensure FOB in pocket etc. The constant iPhone notifications become irritating. Just my opinion.

On the rare times I do not lock my doors, I get one alert. Maybe it's an iPhone thing. In any case you should always lock your doors. Even in your garage on 20 acres of remote land and absolutely on a secure facility. I live on 5 acres and also very remote. That doesn't mean some yahoo walking in the woods doing whatever might not walk up on my property. I always lock my doors while in my garage or anywhere for that matter. On the secure facility it's even more important. Ask the person in charge of that secure facility if they recommend locking your car doors and guaranteed they say yes. This is common security protocol to have multiple layers of security and not to rely on just one. Every secure facility I've ever been on has doors to buildings and rooms inside those buildings locked with key card access and/or physical keys. Some even had armed guards. To imply that because you are on a secure facility you don't have to worry about securing your vehicle is counter to any security training you should have received.

In that case just turn off the notifications in the app. You don't really have to be selective as there aren't really that many other notifications and the critical ones also trigger an email, so you are still being made aware of critical battery issues by email for example.
Also, another option short of turning them off is changing the notification settings and have them delivered in the Summary instead of Immediately. So you still get them and can review them at the end of the day to see if there’s anything requiring attention. I have many of my notifications relegated to the Summary, so I can review them at the end off the day and in the morning to see if anything needs my attention and then I just dismiss the entire summary at once instead of having to dismiss notifications throughout the day.
I don’t really get the issue. How hard is it to touch the door handle every time you get out of the car? It unlocks automatically when you approach. It’s a good habit to get into anyway by always locking your doors. I have much worse things to make me annoyed.
^ yeah kinda my general sentiment despite trying to offer some solution. It seems to be a self-inflicted issue. While I don't lock my cars in my private garage most of the time, I treat the resulting notification as a confirmation that the system still works, so I can trust that should I forget to lock the car for real, I will actually get a notification. It's the same with all the notifications I get related to my smart home every time the garage opens/closes, the front door is locked/unlocked or opened etc. They serve as a piece of mind that my home is secure when I'm leaving and that I get notified immediately if something is out of the ordinary.
