I curse the guy who put the loud backboxs on my E55 before I bought it....I'd love the oem silencers, but I have a really hard time justifying the spend of several hundred bux to put something oem back on my car which it should have come with in the first place!

I've got universal straight through silencer boxes (they look like 4x8 oval boxes). Yes there is drone and yes I hate them. But I guess they help bring out some more of that deep rumble sound at just under 3000rpm under light throttle when you're on a country road at night...They're not baaaaad bad, but on a car like this, the less ricey the better IMO (says the guy who's planning on removing 2nd cats this weekend with an x-pipe)
