FS - MB Throttle body, in box - MOTIVATED SELLER
Hello,
My brother moved to Japan, and I inherited some of the stuff he couldn't take.
I don't own a Mercedes, although I like them, and I'm looking to just get rid of this stuff in my garage at this point.
This is one of the items I have for immediate sale - in the box.
it doesn't look used to me, but, you "experts" would be able to tell I imagine from the pictures, etc.
It is a Mercedes Throttle Body, for what car, I have no idea, but the box has part #: 000-141-73-25/82 on it
and also
VDO # 408-225-003-001Z
I did a little research on the part # and the Dealership apparently sells this for a ridiculous amount...
so maybe one of you guys will be interested and nab it up.
I'm asking $500 for it, but am extremely motivated, as I need to get this stuff out of my garage, and it does nothing for me just sitting around.
I will consider ALL offers, and paypal is fine, and I will ship to you anywhere in the USA ground, as part of the deal price, out of my side of it.
I can ship it monday if I find a buyer this weekend.

hey guys, one of the members on another MB forum posted that this thing's official "name" is this:
"Thats an ETA module for 92-95 S420/S500 with ASR."
I'm not sure if there's any further distinction between an ETA module (fancy MB lingo?) and what is normally called a "throttle body"...
but thanks to that guy for ID-ing what this part works for... (assuming he is correct, and since he had a ton of postings on the other board, he probably knows his stuff I imagine...)

Hello mate! i want to help you, post this stuff in to the W124 (500E/E500) forum! this cars have some trobles with this item and the price new is considerable (1200-1600$). You can get some money extra, and post it in the W129 (SL500), W140 (S420/S500) forum too.
I'm sure you can find some people interested cause this throttle's cracks the wires internally and goes bad a lot
ETA = Electronic Throttle Actuator
I replace is this piece in my 500E some years ago, maybe i will buy this one to stay it like a spare part
