2023 Order Guide
So the process went from wait, wait, wait to “it’s being built in a couple weeks”. 😳
They said we were #1 on their list and I guess they were not kidding. FWIW, the order was accepted as we configured it a few months ago including the adaptive suspension.

It’s otherwise very loaded so if it gets shipped without power seats I’ll decline the vehicle and somebody else can enjoy a very oddly equipped MB.

Everything I’ve been able to find publicly suggests the chip supply situation is rapidly improving, at least until Putin turns off the natural gas and other suppliers start experiencing different major issues.

Will you still be getting the vehicle if it doesn't qualify? Have you heard anything from your dealer? I'm unable to get a sales agreement due to vehicle not being delivered.

There is also a federal tax credit of hot to $1,000 or 30% of a charger purchase and installation
So, I’m not sure what you mean - the proposed law included a $4,500 credit on the purchase of a used AEV
I hope your post doesn’t confuse people or the issues attendant with a 2023 new AEV EQB purchase.

1.Vehicle must be assembled in North America to
qualify for new credit. (Page 366, line 15).
2.North American assembly requirement applies to vehicles sold after the date of adoption of the bill. (Page 386, line 3)
3. Transition provision for EVs with written sales
orders dated in 2022 prior to the date of
President signing the bill but delivered in 2023
allows purchaser to claim the "old" credit in 2023.
(Page 386, line 20).
If this bill were to pass the EQB would not qualify for the credit unless you have a sales agreement in place before it is signed into law. Having a sales agreement would allow you to qualify for the transition provision.

As a result, we’ll stick with the EQB regardless.
1. Tesla Model 3, Model Y
2. Mustang MachE
3. Nissan Leaf (assembled in TN)
4. Maybe the Fisker Ocean?
5. Any others
For us, this is very bad news. We do have a 2022 on order but I'm suspecting it will be missing some basic features like power seats and some navigation features. So we either take a substandard luxury car, or wait and pay $7500 extra.

Your salesman is either feeding you a line or there is a significant misunderstanding.
