2023 Release Date
FWIW, I was recently shown an internal document from my dealer that said "Winter 2022." Which, IMHO, seemed like very odd phrasing and a strange way of revising the earlier "Fall 2022" release. I guess this means December since it's after fall but still within 2022?
@awz Also reported in this post that their dealer stated December.

Mercedes-Benz did their remaining 2023 models in blocks starting in late October. The EQB 300 and 350 were set for December and they stuck right to it. My customer's EQB also ordered in August was placed onto a ship 12/1 and is somewhere in the Atlantic (hopefully above water) right now.
My latest info from my sales rep quoted "early December" release date for the EQB 300/350 models based on his sales manager's call to MBUSA. My car has been lurking at Baltimore VPC since October 27. Yet, if I search inventory for 2023 EQB's on the MBUSA website, I see 90 cars on the "any distance" setting for the search. Has anyone seen 2023's on dealer lots or are these 90 cars all at VPC's or in transit?

What does “production” mean and what comes next? (Thx for helping solve the mystery)

That is the date of completion. From there it moves to the shipping yard, onto a boat to cross the Atlantic, final preparation at the VPC, then to your dealer.

does that mean your models were released from the VPC?
I’m wondering when they’ll release them. Our EQB 350 is at the VPC in Baltimore. We are anxiously waiting for it to be released.
Update from my salesman from this week says our 2023 350 is still at the port in Europe. The car was built in mid-August. Um…
I don’t know what’s up with that. I’d like to think it’s a misunderstanding in interpreting Netstar info, or just plain old bad info, but if it’s still in Europe something has gone horribly wrong. I see 2023s on dealer websites with serial numbers 10K higher that are on the water, at the VPC, or have left the VPC.
Ugh.

We have an EQB350 released from the VPC and an EQB300 that arrived at the dealership this morning. Both models were in the same release allotment separate from the EQB250.
Just a quick update. I have not heard anything from my dealer, but I have been able to confirm on the shipping line's website the our EQB has been loaded on a ship and now has an ETA in Baltimore of January 12, 2023.
If anybody else in the USA wants to track their vehicle on the water visit:
https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/
Select 'Track-Trace' ==> 'Cargo Info' ==> 'CUST REF NUMBER' and enter the Mercedes PO# (not the VIN) from the data card provided by your dealer.

Congrats!

At least it's on the way now.
