Most Annoying Thing About The EQB
After about 10 days, the most annoying thing to me is that every time you start the car it goes back to D. If you prefer D- (high regeneration) or D+ (high coasting) you have to reset it EVERY time. Has anyone found a way around this? It seems like a simple software fix for a major annoyance.
Curious what others are annoyed by. My other minor annoyances are any sounds quieting but not stopping your media (e.g. you start parking and get near an object and miss your podcast while it beeps), no wireless car play, and no integrated toll transponder.

It's one of the things I'd like to be able to code.
To me the most annoying thing about the EQB is the lack of regeneration once the car is slower than 5mph. It doesn't allow for one pedal driving like my other electric cars. Really annoying. Other than this I'm very happy with the car.

Amen! And especially in a car that has a wireless phone charging pad.
FWIW, it looks like the new 2023 A-Class (facelift) has a software update that enables both wireless CarPlay and full screen CarPlay. Fingers crossed the software filters down to the EQB like the previous MBUX updates.

Highly unlikely.. I think the facelift A/CLA/GLA/GLB (last two just revealed today) have a different generation of infotainment with different hardware. The EQB has been spied with camo for a facelift too, probably for the 2025 model year. It will get the same changes. But a 2022/2023 EQB won't.

The hardware (NFC+Bluetooth+WiFi) is there so in theory they could update it. Same thing goes for when Apple releases the new version of CarPlay, although I don't foresee Mercedes letting Apple take over the dash.
The other thing I have noticed is a hissing/buzzing with the audio (I have Burmeister) only on cold mornings when I precondition the car. It lasts for a few minutes and then goes away once the car warms up. Anyone have something similar?

I have an EQS. I think you can appreciate one pedal driving by eliminating the coast feature somewhere in the selections. However, you still need to activate strong regeneration every time you start with the paddles.

The other most annoying thing is that if I have a pre-set schedule for preconditioning and then I ask it to precondition now in the app it deletes the pre-set schedule! Does anyone know how to fix this?

To me the noise of I think air-conditioning when I put the car to pre heating...if the demo one I tested didn't have same noise I could say something is wrong with our EQB , or is it ?
rather than that compare to Tesla which I tested I like EQB much much more and happy about the decision
