What's the story with this car?
It seems like it's delayed. Haven't seen anything in the media or online which indicates it is nearing production.

Anybody know what's going on?

Best guess at this point is 3rd quarter next year.

MB’s of all kinds.
2020 Will be the first year I keep hearing. Limited colors and options now packages basically. Not much choice in terms of selecting exactly what you want. That could change with time.

The DOG states Q1, 20 which makes sense as that car is available elsewhere now.

I am sure the car will be fully configurable after a few months but there is no huge selection of options in Germany either.
They are more or less already offered in the packages.

spoke with my dealer and they said its not configurable. there will be i think 6-7 options and basically choose this or that.

Yes, with the GLE and GLS and its still happening. Those were delayed a year basically.
