Since the EQE can be ordered again...

My current Jeep-lease expires in September so the longer I can wait placing an order, the better.

That would make sense. I mean, it would be odd if they would open the order-banks again just to stop taking orders again 2 months later.😄
BTW, do you know how long it takes on average from order to delivery on the AMG EQE SUV? The usual 2 months (since it's assembled in the U.S.) or longer?

I think I should focus on ordering early May then. That should be early enough to arrive before my lease ends and hopefully, not too late before Mercedes shuts down custom ordering again.
Even if delivery only takes 2 months, I would only have to pay off 3 remaining lease payments.

However, I understand your choice as well. After all, you already have an EQE so something new is more exciting.

Didn’t pull the trigger because of Range, I commute from NM Residence to Athens GA plus drive up the Coast to daughter in Reston VA. If I lived solely in Athens 100% would embrace an EV.
Hopefully this new GLC with EQ tech will be much better than GLC ICE that I drove for nearly 3-months when my AMG was in the shop for nearly 3-months in 2022. My wife’s 2020 CRV Hybrid might need an upgrade in 2027-2028…she only drives to ATL and maybe Birmingham twice a year. So she does not need an AMG Variant so an EV GLC would work for her. The tech and displays would be wasted on her but would appreciate not ever fueling up with Gas. I play around with the Hybrid tech in the CRV Hybrid and in the 2012 hybrid CRZ EX manual that traded for the CRV and easily mastered the MBUX in ‘21 AMG Wagon but rather embrace performance and driving enjoyment over the latest tech which might distract me…I still own an iPhone 13 for what it’s worth at age 65. For old school performance still own a 2015 Chevy SS with manual and LS3 V8 plus a 2025 Toyota GR Corolla 6-stick. The 2012 Ducati Diavel is for Sale…
