EQE AMG 2023 VS 2024

I am about to lease a 2023 eqe amg after eliminating the option to go with the eqs 580. However after searching a bit I noticed that for 2024 the hyper screen will be available in the eqe qmg here in the states (currently it's not available). Would anyone here wait till the 2024 hit the ground for this option? I love the hypersrreen but am wondering if after a few weeks of using it it will become more of a 'gimmick' as opposed to truly vital, plus worries about potential glare.... please chime in. Thank you in advance.

Personally, no. The 12" center console screen is more than plenty, in my opinion. I love everything tech, and automate nearly every aspect of life. But the hyperscreen isn't worth the upgrade, at least for me.

I think you are right. It's also quite distracting I think... between that and the AR HUD .... just overkill I think.

I am now between a Magno grey matte EQE AMG or a red one. The Magno has carbon breaks. Otherwise they are identical. I saw a red EQS AMG today and thought is was gorgeous. Will see the red tomorrow, but not sure if the carbon breaks are worth it... either way cars are same price pretty much to lease so it boils down to color choice...

Hopefully you'll only be needing the service brakes if you have lots of twists and turns and need fast speed changes. CF brakes would only be really useful if they're already warmed up and ready to go, and because you're hopefully spending most of your time regenerating instead of using service brakes, I don't see that huge of a need for them. Magno is a beautiful color, but might be harder to maintain. Either color choice sounds great.

I test drove the red with the ceramics and somehow the breaks were easier to modulate and not as edgy (my wife didn't get car sick!). Not sure if that's related to the breaks or to a setting, but that's a nice bonus if it's true. The red really stands out.

Get the 2024. It adds a heat pump and a disconnect unit which both should improve range.

Honestly, I'm happy to go without the DCU, fewer parts to break. I also like the feeling of always knowing the axle is engaged whenever it might be needed. The DCU has a 240ms engagement time. Sounds small, but isn't zero. And the heat pump doesn't make that big of a difference in these cars. I've been doing a fair bit of comparing against the SUV in colder weather, and the difference isn't all that big. If it's *really* cold, then maybe, but on average, you may not notice hardly any difference. The waste heat loop on the systems without heat pump actually works really well.

I have the hyperscreen on my EQE AMG (Canada) - 2023 model. I like it ... I also have an EQE350 SUV without hyperscreen and definitley prefer the hyperscreen. No issues with glare. Dust, wipe it off. No biggie.
