Hi for some reason my ability to change battery charge percentage stopped working. In the past I was able to change charge percentage from 100% to 80% or vice verse on the app. But now it won’t let me. I keep getting connection error. But I do have connection because I can activate pre climate. I can also lock and unlock the car from the app. I can also locate my car through the app. I’ve taken to dealer multiple times and they can’t figure it out. I also called Mercedes me connect over a week and still no call back to solution. Any help is appreciated

Twice I ran into a situation where my car wouldn't update its status for about 2-5 hours. It happened in the same location, though I think that was coincidental. I called Mercedes Me Connect, and was escalated to Tier 2. As soon as Tier 2 called me back, it started working on its own, likely a network outage or similar issue. In your case, if you can actively send data to the car, but cannot adjust the charging threshold, it seems to me that it's an account or vehicle configuration issue. If a Tier 2 support specialist can't help you out, I'm not sure what to suggest. You could theoretically delete your user profile, which would also wipe out any charging settings, and see if creating a new profile solves your issue. If not, then it's account-related on MMC's back end, and only MMC tier 2 or above could approach a solution.

I just got off of the phone with the Me support line. The website is currently down (which also affects the Me app). There is no ETA for restoring the functionality. Bummer.
