on a side question, how does Tesla Model X even survive after the EQS SUV and after Tesla opens up it's superchargers to everyone? Except for self driving (which half the people are too scared to use anyway), I'm not sure what you get in a Tesla that is not far better in the EQS SUV. And the Model Y will be in the same boat with the upcoming EQE SUV and EQB.

Tesla's don't actually self drive. It's a Level 2 system same as Mercedes. Tesla has cachet with the green crowd and tech crowd. I would imagine fewer sales eventually. EQS SUV will be slow to ramp up sales.

You get this unique Tesla feature. Trim and surface materials that starts to flake off revealing a unique patina.
I actually think its priced well, was expecting it to be much more expensive than the sedan but surprisingly pretty much matches the sedan's price. The EQE SUV will be priced under six-figures and closer to a GLE.
A number of dealers including Laguna Nigel in Cali, Alexandria VA, etc. have began to lead inventory. A pretty high number of the early pre configured "market launch" cars have the third row! So if that's something important, i would start searching (cargurus is good) and try to get you rname for one. Generlaly ones with vins ending 400-1500 are pretty likely to have the third row.
On the other hand, it's surprising to see so few EQS SUVs having been built as production trial test cars. With the GLE, for example, the showrrom units didn't start until vahicle 6000 or something, with regular production at like 12000, but with the EQS SUV there's only like 400 pre pro cars, with showroom units at vin 400 and regular custom ordered prodduction at like 2000. I wonder if a lot more of the development and testing was modeled on computers.

Confirmed as I Checked the Vin for my order…. It ends in the 400s and it does have the third row seat.
