The September release date you referred to is for the sedan and not the SUV. There's been no reveal or release date given for the SUV yet.

Try contacting the moderators or admins here but personally, I don't know what to think about an EQG forum, it is just a concept at this point of time.

I have but no replies, and it is more than a concept since it will be built, as either a 2024 or 2025 model. Many dealers have waitlists and some are taking deposits, from people like me.

I understand what you mean by it is not just a concept and it will be a real model but I am saying currently as of 2022 it is just a concept, the production EQG will look different. That being said, creating a forum might not be a bad idea, when the EQS wasn't out yet, a forum was created for example. I can't remember if the EQS forum was created when the concept was out or when the production version was official though.

I watched a MB video this evening and the MB tech said it is near production ready, and it looked close to me as well albeit I did not see the interior. At the pace they are moving at with the electrics it will not be long before we see the real thing!

On a side note, my local dealership says the regular EQE is delayed till at least Q1 2023 for Canada, USA should get it a little earlier but still looking at next year probably.

Not surprised, the chip shortage is getting worse again, initial estimates were 2023 we'd be in the clear for improvement, but now it seems to be to 2024.

To contradict to what my dealership said, MB Canada media's site lists the EQE (43?) AMG (just branded the same as the EQS AMG without the numbers in North America) (I don't think we are getting the 53 model yet or ever if they decided to continue this type of branding) arriving to dealerships in Q4 2022. I would be surprised if for the first time (from what I remembered) an AMG model arriving prior to the regular Mercedes-Benz model, in this case the EQE 350.

I imagine that would have to be a typo since the EQS AMG hasn't even arrived yet. Also I believe that is the 53, as the 43 makes less than 600hp.

There goes my hope lol but ya makes sense, EQS is the flagship for now so it is in their best interest to get those here first. I was thinking about the dynamic plus package if it was the 43 but nevermind on a second thought I don't think the 43 gets that option, it should be the 53 as you stated as the 43 even if it has the dynamic plus package boost it would still be below 600 horsepower like you stated.

AMG EQS should launch in the next month or less. EQE AMG is scheduled for the 4th quarter this year, but I believe 1st quarter next year more likely.

Thanks, what is the estimated arrival of the EQE350? Hopefully they will add a 4Matic variant soon to bridge between the 350 and AMG (53).

That's what I thought, but the EU market has both an EQE 43 and EQE 53, which makes me question whether a 450 is in the pipeline.

That is good news, my local dealership says it will be next year for Canada but if USA is getting it this year Canada perhaps should to, fingers crossed.

My guess is MBUSA chose the 450 over the 43 to ensure better pricing and ride quality which will broaden the appeal of the car. 350, 450 4Matic and 53 AMG make sense as a line-up.
