Oh yeah of course. I meant to say that I didn’t see it on any dealership’s website, so I assumed that no one has preordered it. I’m guessing the only way to order is to call and ask the dealer?
I decided to re-order an EQS 580 SUV from a dealer that I bought from in the past. I explain to them I will not pay above MSRP and they agreed to do a deal in writing to charge MSRP for the vehicle. There is one person ahead of me in the queue so mine likely will not be built till the first quarter of next year but at least it will be exactly what I want with a possible change in wheels if the AMG Wheels seen on the launch vehicle become available.

You and I have both had rotten luck. My dealer submitted my order with base (not Nappa) leather in the wrong color, because the grey interior I had chosen became unavailable. Order was locked by time I found out. They wouldn't put me in line for the next allocation but said I would go to the back of the list (4th). So I got my deposit back.

Sorry to hear that. I had to change the wheel option to RWX to eliminate the 3rd row seating (we don't need it, and don't want it). Other than that, the order is exactly the same as the original order back in March.
Luckily asked my dealer to send netstar screenshot and saw they had everything from color to trim completely wrong. I had them update but missed to include running boards and illuminated star, by the time I realized the build was frozen.

seems like quite a few people were caught off guard by order being frozen. is there normally something in the system that alerts dealers when that is about to happen so a customer can make sure they are ready to proceed with the build as is ?

It’s because the order originally showed up as January build and moved to September build.
I had a good feeling it was going to be September but everyone assured it was Jan so I took time to decide on which color leather to choose. I’m still dumbfounded that the system defaulted from The most expensive leather to the least expensive one and then locked it.
Hi All, I was able to get a dealer with MSRP and a locked build for September. Not my exact build I wanted but I think I will take it. It does have the 3rd row as well. At least on the build page. I am in the US so shipping should be easier.
