2022 Mercedes EQS 580
I am up in the northeast, the color they had was Twilight Blue with Macchiato Beige / Space Grey Nappa
How do you think that will look? Hard to tell looking at the Sedan.
It had most options I was looking for, just not sure on the color. MSRP which most dealers are not doing.

Can't wait for MB to pushed out testers and dealer demos all over the country. Until we can see, touch, and drive the new EQS SUV, we're really in the dark on these orders. Of course pricing would also be helpful.

Not sure what the delay is unless they have done them already and we are waiting on a release date like they did on the April 19th date, 15 reviews show up at once.

To be honest AR HUD is a must have IMO. It has a huge wow factor. I now only use the Mercedes navigation because the AR feature requires using the Mercedes Nav (which is functionally just as good as Apple and Google but with the advantage of AR).
but if you have never used the AR HUD the 444 HUD is also impressive. A significant step up over what is in the latest GLS.

On 445 I can see everything you get on 444. 444 is very good. An improvement over all previous HUDs. You see both a map and Conceptual directions (e.g drawing of junction with arrow of where to go). Also you get that with both CarPlay and Mercedes Nav. It’s the best HUD with the exception of the AR HUD which adds to that giant blue arrows pointing exactly where to go.

Build specs and word from MB on wheels
Our request with an October build date. Fingers Crossed! Also, MB trainer told our SA yesterday that neither of our desired wheels will be part of production. :<
Order with October build date.
The wheels we want!

I bet they’re being reserved for an AMG model that’ll come out later. If so I’ll definitely be ordering a set.

Okay I just checked my build sheet and looks like 878 is standard. But still wondering about PBR and P53

So some packages and options are named differently on the Order requests.

I’m not sure if active ambient is standard or optional but on the S and EQS it’s been a non orderable option that shows up on any cars when it’s available. However even if it’s not standard, ambient lighting is. You’ll get all the colors, you just might not have quite as much and you won’t have the “active” part which does a few things like blind spot warning in the ambient lighting, shooting lines when you accelerate hard, temperature change markings, etc.
The “Pre-Safe” Package is just an odd temporary name for the Exclusive trim package content. Netstar has been down so a few names have been switched to rough translations from German package names or what package codes used to be on other models. Just place holder stuff while netstar comes back online. I’ve seen some other odd names.
As for P53 Energizing air control plus vs PBR energizing comfort plus, it’s odd they use these names, but they are quite different. The air control is actually the HEPA filter, which filters out toxic particles and cleans the air in the cabin. The energizing comfort is a series of softwear programs that sync ambient light, massage seat, temp, and music to promote a “mood” in the car. So despite the similar name, they’re very different things.
