NACS to CCS1 Adapter for MB EV Owners

Honestly, even these seem a bit low - most house wiring is >4x the planned voltage e.g., 600V rating for 120V wiring for example. Most Mercedes have 400V battery packs at 150kW charging so I would have wanted a 1600V minimum rating for the adaptor. Perhaps 2.5x is considered okay because the adaptor is small and has temperature sensors, etc.

1) More robust adapter-to-car-port latch. Reduces chance of damage if adapter is dropped on pavement.
2) Reshaped "trigger" latch to facilitate removal of NACS connector. Not necessary to depress "trigger" below adapter body shell to remove NACS connector.
3) Interlock pin between DC contact pins. Eliminates possibility of removing NACS connector while adapter is connected to car port.
The standard Lectron adapter allows the NACS connector to be removed while the adapter is attached to the car since it does not have the interlock pin. I think there is a microswitch that interrupts charging when the trigger latch is depressed to remove the NACS plug. However, it is a best practice to stop the charge in the Tesla app first, then press the button near the port (white lights), and finally remove the NACS connector. Ironically, it is easier to separate the the NACS plug from the adapter while it is attached to the car.
1. My mobile app received the NACS popup (but only after I fiddled and went through some menus - don't remember which ones). I've enabled it.
2. Based on the discussions here (esp. the note by @LAZARU5) it looks like it is best to order the original OEM NACS adapter and not the lectron one as the former might have some mods that better suits Mercedes vehicles. Could you confirm that this adapter from mbpartssource (authorized OEM dealer) meets that criteria? I also called my dealer who asked me to come in, but I am hoping to avoid that trip
3. My MBUX HUD received a comms module update yesterday (says it allows future auto updates), but I am yet to receive the NACS popup on my HUD. In the mean time, when I changed my settings in the charging options on my car to select "all provides" vs "mercedes charge", tesla chargers do show up. Is that sufficient?
Thanks

As the above post states, you do not need Plug-and-Play from Mercedes to use Superchargers, you only need to install the Tesla app and set up an account so they can bill you. The app is very easy to use and offers a better overall view of where Superchargers are located.

I do have the tesla app set up as well. Frankly, the only time I will use this feature (NACS charging) is on long trips, which isn't often. I'll do a dry run @ a super charger as soon as I get it. Question though - my MBUX unit in my car hasn't yet "auto popped up" anything about tesla superchargers (like my mobile app did). I went into charging stations and enabled "all providers" and then I saw Tesla chargers. I wonder if others got a MBUX popup too?
