Preis ab Werk means netto, excluding VAT

The french configurator shows a starting price of 152.800€ including VAT for the 580, but already very well optioned, the only options remaining are colours, leathers, special front & rear seats...

580 has Hyperscreen standard, not even an option on the 450

I was hoping for a 20k lower price though, I can have a GLS for 30k less, will pull the trigger on that and wait until the EQS SUV...

I’m looking for a price of $135 with options on the 580 which is in line with the S580. If it comes out to 150k I will pass and either get the EQE or a used one later on.

 

I think it is possible that in a year or so, MB will drop some of the add-on requirements from the EQS 580, such as the required AMG Line package, which would bring the 580's entry price down from wherever it starts for MY22. Of course if someone wants that stuff anyway, it won't help, but for some people it will.

I would expect MBUSA to announce base pricing in the next 30-60 days.

 

EQS CANADA order guide

 

Wow this is loaded with information that I never realized the EQS had. The technical details provided of just the Standard equipment is amazing like: "Acoustic Vehicle Alert System": lets pedestrians know the car is approaching when at slow speeds! Or the "Traffic Sign Assist" which alerts the driver they may be about to go through a stop sign or go through a red light. Or "AIRMATIC" section which says if driving below 40km/h the driver can flip a switch to raise the car by 25mm. Hey I'm only on page 4 of 17!
