New EQS lease program announced

I understand that MBUSA has advised dealers of a special lease program that is especially advantageous for 24mo. Does anyone know details such as residuals and money costs?

No, but I did see yesterday that you can now use the payment estimator for lease/finance payments on the MBUSA site for EQS builds. That was not an option a week ago

Thanks ! Of course, the big unknown is how the dealer markups (+ $25-50K) will be calculated into this.

I was in Palm Springs this weekend and was really expecting to hear extravagant markups on the EQS. They said that they have 7 allotted 450+ models coming in. But, they didn't mention any 580s. I asked them what they anticipated the ADM to be, if any. They responded $0 on ordered cars and between $5K and $10K on allotments.

The 580's are gonna be the ones with big markups. 450's will depend on the region since RWD is less desirable for many customers.

Is the lease bonus cash the $7.5k federal rebate for EVs?

Yes, the rebate goes to the owner. Under the terms of the lease, MB remains the owner and will get the credit. They are simply passing it on to the lessee.

Yes this is the federal EV tax credit that will most likely disappear for vehicle of this price range
