wireless charging tray - Galaxy Buds Pro charging?

Has anyone had success charging their Samsung Bud2Pro case on the wireless charging pad? I tried the front and also rear armrest wireless pad but no luck. I tried various positions on the pad also.
I was able to charge this on the 7 series wireless charging pad, so I know it works. My phone works fine on either pad so I know the wireless pads are working.

No experience with the Bud2Pro, but earpod charging cases seem to be a bit of a problem case with wireless chargers. I have a similar issue with my AirPods Pro. I've never tried them in the car, but they don't charge on the pad I have at home. It starts and then stops after a while with a charging error. I've found that others with the same charging pad have the same issue. There seem to be overheating concerns with these cases. I've given up and just plug them in now. It might be further complicated with some car charging pads like the ones in MBs, because they are not just charging pads. They also wirelessly couple the phone's antenna to the exterior aerial for better reception, so that might interfere with non phone devices.

FYI: iPhone XS Max works great however, my new iPhone 14 will not charge on the charging pad. I believe the problem is the new iPhone requires a magnetic charger. Looks like charging pads are becoming more phone specific.

FWIW, I would check if there's a firmware update for the ear buds. Your post made me try charging my AirPods again on my home pad. Lo and behold to my surprise it's working now. Looks like one of the firmware updates along the way fixed the issue. Always love when these vendors blame the third-party hardware first and then quietly fix the bug in their firmware.

I had trouble charging my 13 Pro Max initially and found that the culprit was the rubber mat that Mercedes has installed on the wireless pad. I removed the rubber and now have no issue charging wirelessly and don't have an issue with the phone sliding or rattling.

I don’t bother with the console charger pad. In my ‘18 S560, it would work for 15-20 minutes, then stop, and I’d get a msg it wasn’t charging. The dealer could not or did not fix it.

I just plug in a USB cord and charge it that way. I think it’s more convenient as I can pick up the phone to use it.

Here is latest update.
- I am at latest software update for the earbuds so no dice
- I removed the plasstic mat, still doesn't work
I got it to work on the rear charger, but putting the phone 1st, red charging button turns on the pad, I removed the phone quickly and put the earbuds on and they are charging. Seems like the surface is too small for the car pad to pick up charging signal?
I tried the same trick on the front charging pad, but it doesn't work, I don't see a charging light on the front one.
Oh well I guess I will have to do it the classic, 'old school' way by plugging it in.
Thanks everyone for trying to help.

That has been an issue for apple phones. They were about 10 years late to the Qi standard. Probably because they didnt want to adapt their design to fit their system. They still have problems working "universally" as they should. Another reason for android.

Neither my Samsung Flip 4 or my wife's fold 4 will charge either in there. Its a joke.

Going to check with out the rubber pad.

I did not realize the rubber mat what is removable. I just removed it and now my iPhone 14 Pro Max seems to be charging ok. I now get the message “don’t forget your phone“when I exit the car which I find very helpful.

2023 EQS 580 SUV 4MATIC
Just joined MB thread, wife purchased 2023 EQS SUV 580 4Matic a couple of weeks ago and she's been telling me, the wireless charging pad wasn't working. Assumed
it was because of her phone case for her Flip 3. She has a case/wallet/card holder. I have a flip 4 with a slim case, it wouldn't charge either with/without case. No
issues with wireless charging in our 2020 Bentley GTC Mulliner or 2022 Lincoln Navigator Black Label. Taking Benz back for clear coating and I've told them the wireless
charging pad needs to be replaced. I was able to remove the pad and I got the message about not being able to charge, so I am certain the pad is the issue.

My Flip4 doesnt charge there either but my S20 works perfectly. Had trouble with Flip4 in my Genesis too so I'm pretty sure it's not the pad. Most phones have the inductive thingy in the middle but with flip it's in the bottom half so got best results with it in closed position.

The galaxy buds case will not charge.Makes sense since it wont stay in place either. Its simply not made to work in a moving vehicle. To can always simply plug it in with a cable. Its also a quicker way to charge.
