I never got a chance to take a picture since my phone was in my pocket and by the time I got it ready, the message disappeared. This happened multiple times. In any case, it’s a moot point since my dealer treats me very well. I’m going to the dealer in 1.5 hours and when I start the car I’ll have the phone ready to take a picture of the message comes up.
This is not an isolated incident. The EQS is rife with issues. It's easier to count the number of owners without issues than the ones with.

Sorry to disagree. But if I have to drive to a dealer to fix a brand new car, then MB is definitely not treating me well. No amount of free coffee and bottled water is going to fix this.

That was back in the spring or late winter (don’t remember exactly when). I’ve had zero issues since then. The dealer replaced the 12 volt battery a few weeks after the incident just in case there was a problem with it. I love the 580.

As it turned out, I didn’t have to drive to the dealer. After waiting outside the car for a few minutes, the car started just fine with NO error message. You didn’t point that out.

The dealer did replace the 12 volt battery since I was getting the message “12 volt battery not fully charged”, at their cost.

Today's Wall Street Journal suggested that 12 volt battery issues seem to be very common in EV's. They claim that it's usually a software issue that causes the batteries to run down. While they are not regarded as automobile experts, the Journal noted that the new Tesla truck was the only EV with a 48 volt based accessory system.
