I don’t chance to see what had been uploaded. Just want to see anyone else has experienced yet.

Any noticeable changes to the ride quality/suspension behavior?

"Ground clearance when parking"
I wonder if that means they will give us the ability to raise the vehicle when desired?

EQS Sedan
I installed it yesterday when I went out to lunch on our EQS sedan. Other than getting a 'Successfully Installed' message on the screen and in My Mercedes, I haven't seen or felt anything different. My thought was that maybe the car raised a bit when you pressed the button to give you the 'parking view' on your screen.

Are all EQS sedan owners getting this OTA? I own a 2022 EQS 580 and I haven’t seen anything about it yet.

I received no updates. However, I've noticed my AR HUD navigation is uber nice now with the ability to show me which lane I should be in. The AMG graphics have also improved with transparent image of the vehicle when transitioning from one menu to another. Of course, I always het those holiday decors on my screen as well. MB does these updates, but they don't notify me. The changes are very subtle. These changes also sometimes mess up my profile setting too. For example, my half round button is set for sound and suspension. When there are some kind of OTA updates, my buttons change to something else. Now when I do navigation, there are a flood of information on the AR HUD.

TBH, I don't feel anything different today. car doesn't raise during or after parking

edit, actually, I just recall that tonight when I drive into in n out park space, there was a parking curb in front. front camera 1st pick up as red but when I got closer (can still see in the camera, not went into blend spot), somehow it clears.
maybe just the sensor can't pick it up anymore but next time I will pay more attention see suspension raises or not.

Don’t like the ride quality

I personally don’t like the updated ride quality. The ride quality before on comfort was nice, soft and supple and now it feels stiffer imo even on comfort. The steering also has changed and doesn’t feel as easy when you move the steering wheel. You also don’t feel as planted when you are making a corner. Before the suspension would keep your body centered and there was a minimal about of lean; now it feels like you’re slightly moving out of your seat. The things that it did fix is when you go over a slight dip or speed bump, the car doesn’t bottom out like before. I’m going to call the dealership and see if they downgrade the software update. This is kind of ridiculous because this car is supposed to be all about comfort. If I wanted a stiffer vehicle, I would have purchased a BMW.

Interesting, but to be sure I understand correctly, are you saying your range has dropped 8-10% or that it has INCREASED 8-10%? The way you wrote it, it sounds like the latter, which would certainly be happiness.

Can you see if Eco mode feels softer?

I suppose that's the ultimate downside of OTA updates. The manufacturers can change the car for better or worse and you have no control over it. It has also led to buggy products being released before they are fully baked, because they know they can just fix it later once they get around to it, but in the meantime early adopters have to live with the bugs. Every single loaner car I had in the last couple of years was a buggy mess and they don't get updated, because the Mercedes me services aren't active. I'm frankly not sold on continuous software updates to cars beyond fixing obvious issues.

I did receive the OTA update yesterday. I do see a couple subtle changes when I press the EQ symbol on the upper left of the main screen. I sure hope you’re right about the range increases by 8-10%. That would be awesome. I haven’t tested it yet.

This morning I received a message from MB that my services were updated and that I can view them on the “Overview”. I don’t anything that says “Overview” on the app.

I am going to check out that menu later today. since yesterday morning, I got like 268 wh/mi to work and 245 wh/mi back home. I never see those number before. this morning I drop off my kids and to office, normally is ~310-320 wh/mi, today is 297 wh/mi. I am going to see what number will I get later when I go home.
those number are without ac on. i like to drive with window and moonroof open.

Just got updated…terrible update

The car is stiff af now. It doesn’t feel buttery smooth and soft over the road anymore like I originally brought it for. Now it feels like any other cheap EV…before at least the ride gave it a premium feel. Also, turning the steering wheel is much stiffer now. This is bad…the drive is not pleasant at all now because I’m using more effort to steer. Completely ruined the experience of the car. I’m going to a dealer THIS WEEKEND to see if they can revert the update because this is bad. Mercedes please revert the changes back to the previous ride quality. PLEASE, begging you.

actually I think the ride and handling is a step closer to Porsche Taycan. which I like it a lot. it is different kind of stiffness compare to cheap cars.
but I think the better way for mercedes is to let customer has ability to choose stiffness for each of their own

I received this notification/message on my iPhone this morning and didn't read it fully and carefully before it disappeared. So, I'm glad you mentioned here. It was something about "services" for sure. I spent about 15 minutes looking under every stone and could not find anything relevant. I have no idea what or where "Overview" is either. Hopefully somebody will discover it and post!

Agree. I got it, too, but have no idea what was changed.....can't find anything. I have not seen the suspension update.

These seem to go out when they update something on the backend that may affect your services. Tap on the hamburger, then tap on your vehicle, then Manage Services and verify your active and inactive services.

Yep, I check that each time I recieve this message, but nothing changes that I can see. All the same services remain activated. Wonder what services they are updating?

I'm not a fan of the stiff ride at all. It's such a downgrade in experience. I'm not happy
