It is definitely possible, but the steps are cumbersome and maddening. I did it last winter a few times when we needed extra clearance to exit our plowed in driveway. After much trial and error, I finally got it to raise consistently using the manual's instructions. Oddly, my wife following the same steps couldn't get it to work. Keep trying and you'll get it. Why can't we in the US have a raise button like in Europe, or like my 2008 MB?

I didn't realize this existed. I guess I didn't read the manual cover to cover. Luckily, when they transported my car, it was in one of those low enclosure trailer. I really wish we could get the raise button. Those parking bumpers and steep approach ramps and departures have me on edges all the time, and it's one reason I'd rather drive my SUV to unfamiliar places/parking.

Makes no sense why the EQS doesn't have a raise button...

My car does it. It did take me a couple of tries. You have to make sure the car is off, open the door to make sure it is, and then close the door and try it. Hit start without touching the brake. I held the arrow for seven seconds, then immediately hit and held the OK button, and it went into transport mode. After that, no problem. But, a raise button would be sooooooo much simpler!
