C43 Coupe bluetooth/sound issue
New to the forum, just picked up a 16 plate C43 Coupe and I seem to be having an issue that one of you may be able to help me with.
When I collected the car from the garage last week and drove it home I had a memory stick plugged in with music playing and my phone was connected via bluetooth and I was using WAZE and getting the sound coming through the car system.
The same was ok when I drove to Somerset last week ..... however now I cannot for the life of me get the waze sound top come through the system.
The phone works via bluetooth when making or taking a call but the WAZE announcements just wont come through?
Has anyone got any ideas or advice ?
I hope it is an embarrassingly easy fix !

I have connected my phone via bluetooth to the bluetooth Audio connection on the car and can play music, no problems, but if connected I cannot use the memory stick at the same time as it swaps the device source in the Media menu.
The phone connects to the telephone via bluetooth, no issues.
I would've thought that even though its an older 16 plate car that bluetooth connection would be relatively easy, but it appears not to be the case.
Like I said it was working last week when I picked up the car I am just thinking that I have overlooked at setting or pressed the wrong button or something.
It may even be a Phone issue, I am using an iPhone 16 with all latest updates, I may try and older Phone and see if there is any difference, if not I will need to seek advice at the main dealer.
All settings in Waze are correct

I have reset the car system, reset my network settings on my Phone, de authorised and reauthorised my phone , deleted and reinstalled Waze and done everything I have read on the internet this morning ha ha.
Unfortunately Waze will still not play through the speakers of the car, Google maps is working though !!
Very strange I will persevere but at least I can use google maps in the short term. I am thinking it is a phone issue as the Phone has update in the last week or so but ... who knows!
Bit of an update ... just tried my daughter's Phone with the same result .... very strange
I have ordered a cheap Bluetooth transmitter thing that will arrive tomorrow and I will see if that works.
Thanks again for commenting mate
I may need to visit my main dealer and see what they say

I have a solution and it looks to be working
It seems that in my C43 you can do handsfree calling reasonably easily but this is NOT the same as Waze giving directions via a bluetooth call !
The solution I have come up with, which still may not be the best way but it works is .......
I connect my Phone via the Bluetooth audio icon in the audio system, this connects my phone "fully" via bluetooth , I then change to my memory stick once the bluetooth audio is connected in the media devices section of the system and the phone continues to be fully connected via bluetooth and this allows Waze to give me directions, whilst listening to music own my memory stick , so far I have had no issues once I connect this way .
It is a bit of a convoluted set up , which , if I am honest was more luck than judgement but it is what it is!
It does need to be done each time you enter the car though which is a bit of a mess on but it is working !
Thanks for all the advice
Much appreciated
