Just ordered new 2018 E43

Just ordered new 2018 E43 for European Delivery in September.
Piedmont Green
P03
Panorama Roof
AMG Night Package
Nut Brown Nappa Leather
AMG Performance Steering Wheel
Plan on doing Factory Tour and Mercedes Museum.
Any suggestions?

My dealer told me now that the 2018 E43 will not be available until November. The information I have says 2018 E43 is a mid August release.
I can't believe that MB will be still producing 2017 vehicles in September.
Can anyone explain the release dates of vehicles and how that relates to the availability of the vehicles?

Process is moving along now. I received a PO# from MB today.
2018 E43 Sedan should be available for pickup in September.
Time to plan rest of trip.

I would recommend to contact MBZ ED Department 800 number. Let me see if you can get this for you.
EDIT:
Debra A.: At this time the information is not yet available. The anticipated launch is third quarter 2017 so as we get closer to the launch they will update which cars will be available for European Delivery Program.
Debra A.: ED Customer service contact is 800-243-3876 Monday to Friday from 9:00-5:00 EST

2018?

That's odd -- I ordered my E43 AMG in March 2017 and it's definitely a 2017 E43 AMG. Supposed to be delivered any day.
Are you sure it's 2018?
If so, is there much of a difference?

I don't know what the difference between the 2017 and 2018 will be. Mine is definitely a 2018 being built last week of August. My dealer hasn't even given me pricing yet on vehicle with options. I would doubt much difference since the 2017 E43 was a new model for MB and the interior on the E class was just redesigned.

Mine is in VOC in Baltimore. Should be in my hands by Tuesday.
I keep reading about doing the tour in Germany and leasing direct.
Since im already itching for the E63, is leasing direct a reality? Is there a better deal to be had doing it that way?

I didn't lease. I am purchasing my vehicle.
My dealer says my vehicle will be ready for pickup in September from the factory center.
Lots of paperwork involved, I hope it will be worth it.

Picked up Sept 7

The European delivery was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Went on a factory tour to see E class production line. Lunch was provided at nice restaurant inside welcome center. Received 2 tickets to the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart. The entire process was a great experience. We stopped at the AMG factory on our way out of Stuttgart. My car is arriving in Baltimore today and will get to the dealership in a couple weeks.
