Just got home at 2:30AM from our meet, my "date" with Lisa, and a stop at the Commerce Casino. If I took any pix that turned out halfway decent I will post them tomorrow. Thanks to Carlos for putting together a killer meet, it was cool seeing "the usual suspects" and all of the new cars and faces. Next up Irvine on 7/30 right? That's Kim's and I 17th wedding anniversity. I am sure Kim will also make this meet. Wolf

 

I finally got home.

1) Thx Ggirl you are f$%king awesome for letting me chill with you and your sister in SD and then giving my behind a ride back to the OC after i made the mad dash to TJ. oh mr evosport e55 i finally got to break a 100 running to the border so it was totally worth whatching you boyz get the mphs up while i chilled at 70-75. additionally Ggirl made me jealous of some of the new skool toys the new e500's come with.......mommy what is that button for and that one and that one and....NOOOO dont touch that....swooosh....that was the ejector seat. LOL

2) Thx ramil, Saprissa and my One2four homies and all the those that allowed me to show them the way to san jose...oops encinitas via the rest stop. it was awesome we had no accidents and NO TICKETS. however on the ride home from SD at about 1:30am a car was crushed from the rear up the to drivers seat; so i hope whoever that was is safe and it wasnt anyone we know.

3) AWESOME PICS EVERYONE. Great job. i spent more time oooing and ahhing like usual.

4) any meet saprissa sets up you can count me in. good job. RAM i can say enough about how awesome those name sheets were and how you got out the word to our fellow 124's in the 500e world. it was good for people to see what mbz built b4 it bought AMG. if i get lucky my mbz will get lost in TJ and i will find me a 124 500e.

5) mr. wolf/ mrs NICE FREAKING wagon. i have NEVER seen one and i am a better man for seeing your beauty. Beautiful color. Beautiful setup. I knew that car as soon as i saw it.

6) sean quit cleaning your car fool....

7) chris should be nominated as official mbworld photographer. this guy was taking freaking pics as we were rolling caravan style while driving.

8) can you say UNIMOG vs. SMART???? i dont know who gets the best of show the 53 or the smart. both were awesome. btw i saw a sprinter drive by the meet.

9) mark what can i say....loser next time go to tj with me and don't leave early...hehehehe j/k

in all seriousness thank you one and all. i met a lot of awesome people. i had a ton of fun. i would definately do this again.

 

Wow it's 5:04AM and you just got home. That's amazing. Must've been a crazy long meet!

i actually got home at 2:50am because i was kindly invited to celebrate GGirls bday in SD with her sister and their friends after i returned from TJ.

btw for those of you that dont think women know much about cars ggirl and her sister held their own and then some. they are super smart ladies. if you didnt get a chance to meet them you were definately on the short end of the stick. i was impressed that these ladies were that well versed on mbz's as well as bmw's, mini's and a whole host of other rides.

btw Ggirl KAREN STILL OWES ME A RIDE IN HER MINI.

It was awesome meeting all you guys too! It was nice ride home with limited traffic which was great. Awesome pics by everyone- see you at the Q on the 30th.

I dont think he was referring to the car driving well at 140 mph Just kidding Kim, we missed you yesterday especially at dinner with Lisa "When Harry Met Sally" and Jim. We should caravan down to the BBQ at the end of the month. I know I am meeting Benzoboi and James in Glendale first.

 

I trust my husband... don't know the car well enough yet to know if I can trust IT at 140!

Thanks man! It was nice meeting you too! Actually it was awesome meeting all the E55 owners. You guys have the most awesome cars I've ever seen. Makes me want to just get me one of my own someday.

While I was leaving the Oggis pizza place. A man stopped me and asked me about your E55T. lol He asked me if the car came like that from the factory since he's never seen a Wagon before. He was really amazed and talked about how much he liked the car. Looks like you got another fan. The car was absolutely stunning!

actually, there were quite a few W209's.... surprising they didn't come out in too many pictures !

next BIG meet will be in Irvine sometime around late Sept / early Oct to coincide with the opening of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center grand opening.... stay tuned !

also, on July 30th, there's a BBQ (bring some $$) at Brav's house.
