We'll easily break 100.... there are a lot of people who never sign up and just show up. Plus all of the vintage / classic MB's (1950-1970) don't sign up either, and just show up.
It helps we've got a FREE Raffle going with really good prizes,
plus there's a Bar & Grill on the premises, plus their will be a Canyon Cruise,
plus the professional Photo-Shoot....

I've been going to MB meets for about 3 years now. And this will probably be one (if not the biggest) so far. Last meet on July 9th in Encinitas (San Diego) we drew over 85 MBs.

There are other Euro Meets in SoCal that draw hundreds and hundreds of cars, but that includes BMW's, Audis, VW, and other Euros.....

My meets are all Mercedes-Benz only, but as we meet more, we all get to know each other better, and it's more of a friends meet too, with new people showing up every time, and having a good time ! Pretty soon, we'll have a BENZ-FEST and have 500 MB's showing up !!!

Yes,
one of the suggestions we have received from the past 2 or 3 meets is that many people have trouble putting faces to names, or names to cars. So someone brought up the idea of having cards & lanyards, like they have a rock concerts and other special events which could have some sort of identifying information on them.

So I was able to get a ton of Card Holders, and lanyards that we can wear for the meet. The Card Holders will fit a 5x8 card in vertical position, so I am asking anyone and everyone who want a Holder & Lanyard, to come to the meet with a pre-printed 5x8 card with the following:

- online Screen-Name
- color photo of your car
- first name (Optional) or car Year & Model or your Avatar

Here's an example of one I made up for myself:

The parking lot is actually owned by the IRVINE CO. and used by the tenant businesses around it, mostly by TIA JUANA's Bar & Grill. The management of TIA JUANA's has given us permission to use the lot and even set up booths if we want. However, no alcohol, racing, drag, drifting, speeding, burn-outs, donuts, etc... will be allowed. Anyone doing such activity will be asked once to leave, and if continued will be enforced by local law enforcement.

Meet officially opens at 11 AM
as the usual suspects chat & mingle, we will be setting up for a few different raffles throughout the day. We have several raffle prizes, and will stagger them as more people show up. In the meantime, there will be time for photo-shoots, to re-arrange cars in photogenic positions, etc... Also, if you're hungry for lunch, you can always go up to the TIA JUANA's balcony, get yourself some tacos or whatever, and eat from the patio watching all the cars in the meet right at your footstep. Later in the day, we will start passing out information (maps / directions) for the canyon cruise. Not all are required to participate, and can hang out at TIA JUANA's as long as they want. The cruise will return to TIA JUANA's, so no need to go anywhere, if you don't want to. Probably have one last raffle, take more pics as the sun starts to go down and give some nice light angles, and then those that want to take off can do so, others, will probably stay at TIA JUANA's for dinner or drinks. TIA JUANA's also has live DJ and dancing after dark.

We are expecting well over 100 Mercedes-Benz vehicles from 1950-2006.
This will be one of those events you do not want to miss ! Bring your camera, and prepare for some fun !!!
