One of the suggestions we have received from the past 2 or 3 meets is that many people have trouble putting faces to names, or names to cars. So someone brought up the idea of having cards & lanyards, like they have a rock concerts and other special events which could have some sort of identifying information on them.

So I was able to get a ton of Card Holders, and lanyards that we can wear for the meet. The Card Holders will fit a 5x8 card in vertical position, so I am asking anyone and everyone who want a Holder & Lanyard, to come to the meet with a pre-printed 5x8 card with the following:

- online Screen-Name
- color photo of your car
- first name (Optional) or car Year & Model or your Avatar

Here's an example of one I made up for myself:


This is completely optional, however, if you would like to ease the awkwardness of not knowing who is who, please bring your 5x8 (portrait position) card.

Hey my friend of mine also wants to come to the meet, cept he wants to take his own car. It's an 05 white 330i, think any one would mind?

 

sorry.... but we have limited parking spaces.... and this is an MB-only meet. We made this decision way early on, because there are plenty of EURO Meets where all marques of cars can participate, but we wanted to organize exclusive MB only meets.

This JUST IN

A one of a Kind Brabus B55 /AMG SLK 55 conversion will be at the meet.

This is the only one in the world as certified by BRABUS. I was able to take a peek at it today at BRABUS in Newport Beach. It was an ////AMG SLK55 in Sept. of last year. It was rush shipped to the PORT of Long Beach and I beleive sat there for 2 weeks waiting Customs approval. It was then delievered if i remember correctly The last week in Sept.

Brabus has done a lot of mods to this Car. Other mods planned might be a supercharger or a full removal and replacement of the motor. See this car at the show because it won't BE AT cema (sp?) even tho Brabus wants to highlight it.

Also the latest on the DTM you all saw in Newport Beach. It was offered for purchase to the person that is bringing the B55. IF you want to see the CLK-DTM it is at Laguna Niguel MBZ. I don't believe it will attend. We tried numberous times to get that car to the event. We are crossing our fingers that it will show but that is all we can do is HOPE it shows up.
