this is a MBZ meet only. The parking is for mbzs. All other makes will be asked to park elsewhere. there are other parking lots closer to sand canyon that can be used.

We would like other people to show up however MBZ's are the SOLE focue of the event. please explain this to friends that are coming with cars other then MBZ's. We have been approached by ferrari owners to join this mbz event. we welcomed them but they must park in a different place then the event.

This is basically saying they are not welcomed...I won't bring them if they are not welcomed then. IMO it's stupid to have fellow car enthausist to park far away from the main crowd not to mention not even welcomed in the same parking lot. I will inform them this and if they still want to come I will park my car with them and walk to the main parking if necessary.

I'm always welcomed at large BMW meets, hell, I was the only MBZ at the UCLA BMW meets and they didn't mind me parking amongst them. I don't know why we couldn't do the same. Are we afraid we wouldn't get the "oh look at me" statement if there's Ferraris, BMWs parked among us or what??

we are not saying they are not welcome however look at if from another view. lets say we do an mbz only meet and 10 guys with hyundais show, 5 with ninja 1000's, 8 civics, 2 volvos, 4 mustangs, 6 cameros and 10 mbzs show. that wouldnt be a mbz meet if you ask me it would be a normal everyday parking lot.

we are trying to make this unique to mbz only just like bimmer fest. bimmer fest doesnt have mbzs, audis and ferraris in the line up from what i recall. however everyone is welcome to come down and mingle.

now when a party or something like that is thrown then brands dont really matter. lets say we do a big casino run out to pechanga (which is in the works) then we will open it up to every brand.

cappa could you please edit you post to reflest that it is oct 15th? we dont want to throw people off. thank you.

but we're not having free BBQ and not hosted by a MB dealership. but i get your point...
