hey guys I spoke with the big wigs... Do we want Limerock? There is an event the 26th and 27th at limerock so if we wanted it, we would need to reschedule our event. Our other option is an autoX event to be established, I cant garantee that it would be a no cost or low cost option though, I need to contact a few places or companies.

Rob... I saw him at the New York auto show last week, so we chatted a bit about the event... He said he would reply to your emails at some point this week.
He said we would not be able to drive our own cars at limerock so there were a few logistics that would need to get worked out, in the mean time I am contacting the SCCA for some help in setting up an autoX event in Jersey.

YES YES YES Lime Rock!!!!! dude i almost signed up for the amg challenge this year but its over $1000 for one day!
man if we could get something like that going at Lime Rock with AMG's that would cost much less I would definatly do it!

Ok guys a racing event HAS been secured, we will be autoXing at the meadowlands... participation righ now is limited to 25 entrants. It will be $40 a person for those who want to race, for those interested in just watching it will be free. We are working on a set of trophies and awards for those who compete. With in the next coming days I will begin registration again...

Out of curiousity, who's running the event? I wouldn't be interested in doing the event - did one event in the Benz, and had very little fun fighting the ESP/ABS BS on a tight course. But if you need any help setting it up or keeping track of everybody's times the day of the event, let me know.

porsche club of america is helping us out on this one... We can bring as many as 40 cars but it might get difficult, they are more then hoping we have no more then 30 cars but if everyone preregisters we should be ok.

autoX is in a parking lot... you are in no danger of doing any MAJOR damage to your car as cones are what designate the track, ie NO WALLS.
