DC/MD/VA: top-down mountain madness
I'm planning a roadster drive through Skyline Drive in northern Virginia (90 miles west of Washington DC)
All roadsters/coupes are welcome, and a co-pilot is encouraged.

Oh, and of course, everyone should have a valid driver's license and should drive within the posted speed limits, and obey all mountain laws....

I moved the date to Sat April 28 so that more people can make it. We can always move it to Sunday if the majority prefer that.
The agenda:
10am: meet at Hooter's of Manassas
11am: arrive at Front Royal
11am onwards: drive south through Skyline Drive
At Panaroma, VA: leave through Exit for 211 East to 29 East
Evening: Hang out at Hooter's of Manassas

Ok guys, the drive is next Saturday April 28.
Here are some good tips online with an "essentials" checklist:

1. Flashlight
2. Spare Batteries
3. Gallon Jug of Water
4. First Aid Kit
5. Park Map ( available free at entrance stations)
6. Spare Tire & Changing Tools.
In addition to the checklist, please bring:
(1) Your driver's license
(2) Your cell phone (charged)
(3) Walkie Talkies, if possible

i didn't go into the mountains, but just cruised down the streets with the Supra and very briefly with the Boxster ...

I went cruising down the streets and highways with my Supra friend on different days, and with his Porsche friend this past weekend.
I have the annual pass for myself, so I plan on going up into the mountains for a drive at least 3 times this year. So I will post it here, when I go up next with a bunch of people.

That's if you can get it to work. It lags bad and alot of this every 5 mins. "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I think it's on a 56k server.

yea ECE is no more. Euromodder is the new site and managed by a new owner. It is still new and we are working out some of the bugs. Its a cool site though, check it out. Especially if you are local.
