lou sold the sl65 a few months ago. ironically i also know the guy he sold it to, but he's not a racer so don't expect to see that car setting any more records. lou may be out there in his mopar though.

What about Allan with the SLR? Don't how many of you have had the pleasure of watching him run the 1/4 mile. It's low 11's as well.

No that's alright chiromikey. My bud Juicee63 is having an event in CA the same day. We are cool. Some may be heading that way. If we get too many than we'll cut down on the amount of runs were all getting. For $25 compared to $258, everyone is getting a bargain. When we all get there ask for Victoria the track director and thank her for such a great deal. I'll go ahead and cap it at 20 cars.

We have a few maybe's so if they change their mind we'll replace those spots.

yeah, i saw josh's event at famoso, i actually would have gone if this event wasn't planned.

i wouldn't worry about the amount of cars. i've been to a few semi-private weekend rentals at speedworld and no matter how many cars show up, we've always been able to run way more than we needed to. i think jj3 typically runs more than 25 times every rental we've been to!

Yea I was going to fontana too, but he didn't know a date when we last talked. He would be here if they weren't having something that day. It's going to be a little busier than normal because of the NHRA King of the Track event. We get their VHT prep for our pleasure. Also getting our own lane to run from. Just to clarify, we have our own staging/call lane. So we race each other and not anyone else running that day. Unless you want to. I'll explain there who gets lane choice. We still have 3 maybes and 3 open spots, so that's still lots of room.

Sweet!!! The local E55 that's coming ran me heads up at a race about 2 months back, and put down a 12.15!! Stock!!! I still won but not by much. I ran like a 12.12 or something like that on that pass. Some good racing coming.

Got you down. The bracket race is going to be 5 rounds for the winner, but we all can line back up if you lose and keep running. Not sure if you will get in 25 laps, but 10-15 good runs should be no problem. Our lane will be just for our group. When our lane gets called off we go. You can run and get back in our lane and they will roll through lanes, and come back to us.

Evan, I wonder If you will be the fastest car out there. Me I'm just doing for my personal best. I'm going to be doing a plug job before hand just to make sure im tiptop. remember guy its starts at 9AM Saturday morning the 13th, I would recommend getting there a bit early for race fuel, and what not.

It's like an 11 race series in 2009. $150+ to the winner at each event.

There are crossfires coming that are more modded than me, it's up for grabs. I think the E55's will be in the 11's with just a tune. It's going to be a great event

Thanks for gettin me down. I know the drill and will be happy to just run a few as long as my Beast is healthy. Went out a couple weeks ago with SECC and she was sick. All better now I believe. Track will tell for sure. Looking forward to the event.

My little beast is a miniature version of yours, so the first thing I always check is the IC pump when its not feeling the same.
