I was Google searching just to see what the word was around on other board, We might see some NSX's out there. I think this event is making its way around to people. I would love to see Cruzinquick's STR-6 smoke an NSX.

I'll definately try. We'll get our bracket race done pretty quick, and then eat. After that it's on, I'm sure a few of you will want to run me heads up. I'm hoping for good weather and sticky shoes. We will set the benchmark for our shootout. I'm getting excited beyond excited. Wooooohoooooo!!!!

I guess some BMW's will be out there. As news of the event has made its way to AZBMW.ORG. Thats all good IMO. The Test N Tune lane will be wide open for them and after I get knocked out of the bracket its on to some heads up racing.

Yes after the bracket race we can do all the heads up we want. Also if someone wants to bracket race someone else slow vs. fast I can have the tower do that as well.
Just another reminder on helmets for those 14 seconds and faster and no shorts. Must have pants. Underwear is up to you but must have pants. No sandals either. Sorry track rules. Don't want anybody not passing tech because of attire.

I'm excited to see what cars show up. I know its a Mercedes meet, but i'm sure there will be people who will want to have a go at us and show up. It all good, cant wait to meet all of ya. Big prep day tomorrow. Just a note: driving in to Speedworld can be dusty at times so if you wash your car, like i will be doing... bringing some quick detailer is not a bad idea. I will be bringing some so if you want to use some feel free to ask.

My car is filthy. No point in washing it now.

I've never been to Speedworld. Is finding the 1/4 mile track pretty self-explanatory once you get there?

once you are on the 60 and pass under the 303 look out for a sign that says "Speedworld drag strip next left" Speedworld is a huge complex with motorcross tracks and what not You go down this this road past a Church of some kind. I will but together some directions that are more clear this afternoon.

The address says jomax, but you actually come in at Happy Valley road off of Grand Ave(US 60). Just follow it around past the church and houses on the left and then you past a little wash and shortly after the entrance is on your right. You'll see the gates. Follow the road in all the way to the gates towards your left. There will probably be a line, if not just pull up to the little gate booth. You'll pay here and just let them know you with the West Coast Shootout Group and then just pull in and follow the return road all the way down until you see us. I'll try to make it easy to find us.

I have my stock 19" sitting. They are conti's and suck at the track, but if the offset fits he's welcome to use them for tomorrow.

Just checked DA and even with 54% humidity was still only 1700'. That's pretty good. That's nearly 1000' lower than when I ran my fastest times.

Hey Bud, Thanks for the offer on the wheel/tire loan. At this point I think I am going to pass and maybe I will try and make it out to spectate if I can get a friend to go. Don't want to drive all the way out to Surprise on the Donut! Total Bummer because I was really looking forward to this event.

What I need is a spare rim and a spare tire should this ever happen again.

Sorry to hear that. Do try and make it out to spectate and enjoy the food. I got my new DR's in today, so I will have my old set of DR's will plenty left on them for tomorrow. Just have to find 16" rims that bolt up to your car. I'll be heading over to the tire shop shortly to get them taken off and new ones mounted. You have my cell.
