The weather is changing, Penn State is ready for another run at the National Championship, Nello has stopped trying to lose weight to fit into last year's swimsuit, and Marshall's has stopped ordering Chucky's micro miniskirts for the year.

What does this all mean? Why, it means that it's time to schedule another Jersey meet, of course. I was thinking of late September or early October (as I will be roaming northern Italy from the 18th through the 28th and pushing my 60 hp Fiat through the Dolomite passes. ).

You have suggestions? Post 'em! As usual, the Roosevelt Park location in Edison seems to be pretty good for most, but if you have any other suggestions, feel free. Don't forget to post specific directions, and a time, so that Bruce can miss the meet somehow.

Oh, and wish me luck with my inspection tomorrow.

Funny...I was thinking the same thing. Time to get together once more before the cold sets in. I'm open for just about any day and I WILL bring the sausage this time----promise!!!

PS----good luck on your inspection tomorrow. Is it you or your car thats getting inspected???

The next weekend, I'll be at Penn State, watching them beat the snot out of Minnesota, so that wouldn't work for me.

BTW - the NNJ section of MBCA will be doing an autox at Englishtown on 10/10.

As I said previously, tomorrow, I'm off to Europe til the 28th. Hopefully, there will be at least 1-2 posts on this thread before I get back.

Saturdays would be ok too, we just need to pick a date and stick to it. That's usually our Achilles' heel in organizing these meets.

I don't know, if last year is any indication we're playoff bound once again. The damn Eagles took our last hope <insert dog joke here>, but Matt Ryan is a monster on the field.

Anyway, I'm out if it is a Sunday, got the NFL Ticket so "every game every week" is my motto.

I may be able to join if we decide on the 25th.........I'm sure I can find a local establishment that has the NFL Ticket or get home before kickoff..............that may be a good idea anyway (local spot that has all the games). If you all are willing to come to PA (about 25 mins over the Commodore Barry Bridge) there is a huge sports bar with a decent sized parking lot in Kennett Square that I frequent.

I'm up for any weekend except Oct 17-18 (family gathering in mountains) or Oct 24-25 (Track day). All the other Sept or Oct weekends are open for me and I am living in Raritan working in NJ for the time being. So, Edison is maybe a 15 min drive on a bad day.

I'm easy to spot, tall ugly guy in the Red AMG.

If Roosevelt Park is the spot, I would suggest we meet in the second parking area instead of the first. Chances are that we'd have the place to ourselves, rather than blend in with Sid's cousins.

Either the 10th or 11th works for me, but some people are pretty tied up on Saturdays with relentless kids' sports.

Does anyone recall if the second lot has grills? I have a couple of small portable charcoal grills I can bring. Or if anyone has a truck, we can bring my new Weber gas rig.
