Would you guys be interested in an AMG only meet sometime in Oct (10/10,10/11,10/17,10/18 or 10/25)? Meet, chit-chat, and then go out for a fun drive. We can decide on a place if there is enough interest.

I might be game for early in Oct. Oct 3/4 or Oct 10/11. Earlier the better to avoid conflicts. Where would you want to go? I would suggest Pocanos or in NY north of Jersey to get into some decent roads but whatever. I'm in North Central Jersey so none of it is that far away.

Look at the dates and pick one. Maybe a Sat near a decent resort or resturant would allow those who want to spend the night and go to dinner, etc.

10/3 sounds good. I agree with the places you mentioned and will need to think about the exact location. First step is to see how many people would be interested. If more people could chime in, we could pick a date, place and finalize it.

I suggest the Stone Bar in Mt Pocono, PA. This is an easy short drive from NJ, most of PA and NY. I have lived here a grand total of one month so, I cannot claim to be experten but anytime the road points toward the mountains, the opportunities for a fun drive excalate.

Sunday Oct 4th is the best date. Say meet for brunch and tire kickin and then go for a drive.

I'm not sure why these "AMG only" meets are tried every so often. They never work out. Being an elitist in a down market is tough!

Ching - i know about that meet. couldn't have done it on those dates because it conflicts with what we're doing.
