MB-Specific So-Cal Dyno Day, Who's interested?
Recently, I dyno'd my car at a local shop in Upland, CA. While speaking to the employees, they told me if I could get at least 10 cars together, they would open the shop up on a Saturday for dyno pulls at a group rate of $50 each.
Each car would get 3-4 pulls depending on modifications. This is a great opportunity to baseline your cars for future modifications. Want to test that ebay chip or exhaust? Want to sell your car? This would be great proof your car is running at factory spec. I spoke to Steve Lemberg today and he told me he recently dyno'd a truck of his at the cost of $100 for 3 pulls.
I am gauging interest, and trying to come up with a workable date for all interested parties. I will be posting this on other forums as well. I will try to read all responses from various boards, but please shoot me an email with your preferred date and vehicle application/mods so I can be certain to write you back once a date is decided.
Details:
Shop is Rage performance in Upland, CA just off the 10 freeway.
Dynojet brand Dyno.
Date must be an upcoming Saturday.
$50 for 3 pulls guaranteed, 4 pending vehicle mods.

So far we are shooting for the end of sept (25th) or the beginning of Oct. Anyone else care to chime in? I only have about 5 cars maybe. We need more to qualify for group pricing.

I am interested, but....I want to do a dyno on a Fiat X1/9. If possible ask if they have a timed rate. I have an adjustable cam sprocket that I want to make two adjustments on.
Dyno one stock cam timing

I realize I may not fit into this offering, but I'm flexible and hoping for a discount on some dyno time.

Just left the deposit, this is happening! I need at least 9-10 people to show up, or I do not get my deposit back. If you are on the fence, please try and make it out. I would consider it a personal favor if you could make it out.

Seacoupe: I did ask about your setup. They normally allow between 10-15 minutes between runs for your car to cool down. If you are able to adjust your timing within that time, you will be peach! If it takes longer to make adjustments, we could schedule you toward the end of the day, so no one has to wait any longer.

I will be there around 9am. Cars will be run until the everyone gets a turn. Last time I went, we had maybe 15 cars. I was the last to run and that was around 4pm.

.I do need to get a baseline done on my SL, but I'll have to wait, & I want to find some place closer to me, so it will be more convenient when I go back later with mods.
