Los Angeles area AMG meet
I'd like to plan a Los Angeles area AMG meet for sometime in the month of January.
I started a thread in the E55 forum, but figured that it would be more fun with more cars to include all Mercedes. But we can focus on AMG vehicles.
Is anyone interested?
I already have a few folks from the E55 forum interested.

A drive sounds fun. I don't care what we do. I just want to get together with other AMG owners and compare notes. That's all.
I'm thinking either Saturday or Sunday of January 24 or 25.

I think this would be great. I'll bring my C43. This would also be a great time to talk about starting the AMG owner's club for US because I want to get this going also. Let's make it on the 24th of January. Is there a good place around Pasadena to meet?

If no one else wants to join in please let me know when you would like to go for a drive. In a couple of weeks I should have time for a drive.
I should be picking up an E55k at the port tomorrow...if all goes well.... but I might bring something lese as well.
I live in Malibu and the roads here are to die for. As for the AMG brakes, I say they cant take a real run out here. My former C32 was a mess with smoke and serious brake fade after even the shortest of runs. You just need to drive at a pace where you can slow for some of the tighter corners. None the less the brakes should be up to a nice brisk drive and maybe the E55 will prove me wrong!

B) CHP intervention (watched a pack of 32 EVO VIII's get popped for 90 in a 45
on their canyon run)
