The FIRST New York City (*and Tri-state area gathering)
What started as a plan for W210 owners have now expanded to all MBworld members. We are transferring this thread from the W210 forum to the Gathering and events forum. Please refer to the attached link for more details of how it came about but effectively we will try to put it here.

Hey Pax,,you should be #1 bro,,,LOL,anyhow,,,I guess the 15th is out and now we're talking the 22 or 29th.Both are fine by me.Ernster,I got your PM and I guess the final date will hinge on how many like the 29th better,as well as weather considerations.

Not sure fellas, Don't have time to drive hardcore into NY, I was hoping this would be more near Jersey (More places to park and easier to access like the past successful meets we had) but I'll sit this one out, have ya'll and post up lots of pics!!

If you can propose a decent place, route, eating joint in the New Jersey side that would not be too far from the big apple definitely let us know. We can certainly make adjustments for this. Remember this is only the first gathering. The much bigger and better one would be in spring or summer, one of those long holidays with mondays.
Stemags, dude, you have a nicer car and I am sure better stories to tell... I am just more pestier so I can pest people to attend.

Paxo,,you makin me blush pal,seriously tho,we can do Staten Island for Vik,plenty of parks and places to congregate.Wolfs Pond park is scenic,on the water,South Beach is also nice ,view of the VZ,both have large parking lots.What say ye forumisers?Any yeahs or nays?

The 29th is great, is this a mercedes only GTG? Ill wear some Patriots gear too, hehe, you know they won a superbowl this year too... City of champions, joke its gonna be another 90 years till we see any championship now that I said that

The initial conditions of the meet was no snow on the ground and temperatures above 35 degrees. Since those two criteria have not been met then technically we should not meet.
I personally would rather wait for a better day.

the other NJ meet, I never showed up because I read it was postponed, then received a phone call the next weekend that it was on. I was going to drive up, but we had snow here in MD, so I didn't risk it.
