F.Y.I.

I just talked to them and either way if you are invited or note invited you'll still be paying $850.00 per person! You can also bring a friend or spouse and it's still going to cost you $850.00 per person! If you bring your friend or spouse just to watch the event $850.00! It's an expensive treat but worth it since it's AMG!

I agree. It doesn't even cost that much to get track time at a local race track. and to drive normal AMG cars. I can do that else where.

The 850$, you better get some 5 Star dining...with strippers!

That's funny i put my name on the waiting list and then a few mins later thought to my self, wait a minute i already drive an E55 AMG and that the only reason for me to go there is to check out other AMG cars but then again i can always go to my favorite dealer House Of Imports and check out their inventory! lol!

I guess i can now appreciate my E55. Didn't even know they cost that much to look at them. lol!

Anyways if any of you guys are interested in seeing my E55 I'll only charge $400.00 bucks! Hey that's cheaper than $850.00 right!? lol!

Don't forget though, you get to lap a few times on the track...

and beat up THEIR AMG, not yours. At least 2 hours of time with an instructor on high performance driving in a C32 or S55? I think I may go for it.

According to the FAQ, you will not be able to drive an S55. The cars will be an E55, C32, SLK32, and CL55.

Most of you guys are saying the price is outrageous, etc. Well, mind you, they are not just including average driving on a street or track driving, they are providing classroom instruction, catered lunch, etc. So with that in mind, 850 dollars is a very reasonable price.

I signed up for Summit Point in August.

Like techbike mentions your using MBUSA cars and the price is a bit outrageous for the content. But what other venue would you get to compare a line up like this?

I think the price is a bit high to weed out the faint at heart, err, wallet. Hopefully they will offer some hidden perks. :P

Expect a full report from me!

Sungulent, a CLK55 AMG is $80,000 fully loaded, and that is infact a very reasonable price. A reasonable price, does not mean someone can afford it. A Ferrari F40 for $300,000 is a very reasonable price, does that mean everyone can afford it just because it is reasonable? No.

Get my drift?
